Project Overview

Modern visual system for a fashion entertainment platform.

A clean layout for IN-HOUSE is crucial. The look is fun and inviting, which in turn engages the consumer. Pops of color, gradients, combining images with text and inverting text/colors creates an environment that captures attention. IN-HOUSE is visual heavy showcasing all of the products and styles with a modern retro vibe.

Challenge

Create a visual system that works in perfect harmony with all of the different personalities from various areas of the entertainment industry that the site will host.

Initial research was conducted on similar platforms to gain context and inform our visual approach. We wanted to identify what worked and what didn’t in order to design a better experience that was cohesive across all personalities.

Industry research

We identified key elements we absolutely wanted to invoke with our work.

Logo research and design

We also studied how others approached their look and feel. This helped the team develope a logotype that reflects the brand’s modern aesthetics.

Color Palette

The color palette of the site and overall creative aim to compliment the personality that is being showcased by having it be on the spotlight. Further emphasized by the use of secondary gradients.

Typography

We chose typefaces that echoed the brands simple yet bold aesthetic.

Wireframe

We worked closely alongside the developers by aiding them with generating the creative that would go into the site.
